Michael Olise named Bayern Munich’s Player of the Season 2024/25

The award marks a wonderful first season at the Bavarian giants for Olise.

Michael Olise has been nominated as Bayern Munich’s Player of the Season for 2024/25, as announced via the club’s social media. 

The French winger made his €60million move to Bavaria from Crystal Palace in July 2024 where he signed a five-year deal. 

In his first campaign representing Die Rekordmeister, the 23-year-old became an instant fans’ favourite.

The fan vote results placed Olise (44.8%) first by a considerable distance ahead of Thomas Müller (18.7%) and Harry Kane (9.4%).

Olise registered 12 goals and 15 assists in 34 Bundesliga matches last season to help Bayern reclaim the Meisterschale. 

He also enjoyed a strong UEFA Champions League campaign with a further 5 goals and 2 assists in 14 outings. 

His importance in Vincent Kompany’s side became even more evident when the likes of Jamal Musiala were sidelined through injury.
