Milan fans have seemingly reached a breaking point following their team’s latest defeat, reacting with total indifference rather than with anger.

The Rossoneri’s 2-1 loss to Bologna, their second consecutive defeat in Serie A, was another setback in what has been a turbulent campaign, yet the dominant response from supporters has been apathy.

Milan fans show indifference after Bologna loss, but management backs Conceiçao

According to Sky Sport Italia, while some Milan supporters usually turn up at their team’s training ground, Milanello, during the week, no one was present on Friday following their defeat at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara—another clear sign of deep disillusionment.

Despite the growing disconnect between the team and its fanbase, the management continues to back head coach Sergio Conceiçao.

While reports indicate that the club still believes in his ability to turn things around, the challenge will be not only improving results on the pitch but also reigniting the passion of a disheartened fanbase.

In recent months, Rossoneri fans have repeatedly expressed their frustration through vocal protests and criticism of both players and management. During their latest match, a banner in the away section of the Stadio Dall’Ara read: ‘Only for the shirt.’
