Milan are reportedly considering adding a new sporting director to their hierarchy and plan to make a definitive choice by the end of April, having already lined up several candidates.

Their idea is to hire a new figure to work alongside technical director Geoffrey Moncada, who is not currently recognised as a sporting director by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), as his training took place in France.

While both Moncada and Jovan Kirovski, the club’s Sport Development director, have recently been admitted to a sporting director training course organised by an Italian university, the Rossoneri are still considering hiring someone with a proven track record in that role.

Milan line up candidates for sporting director job

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have identified Andrea Berta, François Modesto, former Juventus director Fabio Paratici, and Atalanta’s Tony D’Amico as their preferred candidates for the position.

Berta is currently considered an unlikely option, as rumors suggest he is close to reaching an agreement with another club. This means the Rossoneri would focus on one of the remaining three candidates, aiming to finalise their search by April.
