Milan have reportedly offered a contract to Partizan talent Matija Popovic before he becomes a free agent in January, keen to fight off their European competition.
The 17-year-old forward has emerged as a player brimming with potential in the Partizan Under-17 squad, attracting attention from various sides across the continent like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Milan have been closely following Popovic for a while now and are ready to make a move for him in January, after his contract expires with Partizan. He will not pen a new deal with the Serbian outfit, ready to take the next step in his career.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are ready to pick up Popovic and have presented him with a four-and-a-half year contract, trying to convince him of the project in the Lombardy capital.
Despite the strong competition, the Rossoneri are confident that a deal can be pushed over the line and are hoping to reach a total agreement in the coming weeks.
