Wednesday’s updates claim that Milan have presented Massimiliano Allegri with an initial offer to join the team as head coach for 2025-26, despite ongoing talks between the former Juventus tactician and Napoli.

Milan are looking for a new head coach to replace Sergio Conceicao heading into the 2025-26 season, and following the appointment of Igli Tare as sporting director earlier in the week, the Rossoneri are now pushing to bring Allegri on board

Wednesday morning’s reports claimed that contacts have intensified between the coach and his former club, and updates in the afternoon provide details of the reported offer that has been tabled.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Allegri is the current frontrunner to take over at Milan this summer.

Wednesday’s report claims that Milan have offered a three-year contract worth €3.5m per season in wages.

Napoli, meanwhile, had been prepared to offer the former Milan and Juventus head coach around €6m per season in wages on a two-year contract.

The coach himself is reportedly pushing for a salary of €5m per season plus bonuses from Milan.

Calciomercato claims that Allegri could reach a decision over his next club as early as Friday.
