Sky Sport Italia reports that Vincenzo Italiano will meet Bologna directors today to discuss a contract extension at the Stadio Dall’Ara, with Inter and Milan interested in the possible developments.

Bologna coach Italiano will meet club directors today to discuss a contract extension with the Rossoblu.

The Italian tactician is contracted until 2026 and has already met club directors twice in the previous days.

It is no secret that Italiano is one of the Milan candidates to replace Sergio Conceiçao in 2025-26, but according to Sky Sport Italia, Inter are also waiting for possible developments as Simone Inzaghi’s future remains uncertain and will only be determined after the upcoming Champions League Final against PSG.

Previous reports claimed that Italiano had prioritised a contract extension with Bologna; however, the two parties have yet to reach a complete agreement on a new deal beyond 2026.

Both Inter and Milan have also been linked with Massimiliano Allegri, who is expected to take charge of a Serie A club next season, one year after being sacked by Juventus.

Bologna appointed Italiano last summer, and the 47-year-old has won the club’s first major trophy in 51 years, lifting the Coppa Italia earlier this month.
