Milan are set to finalize their search for a new sporting director within the next two weeks, with Fabio Paratici now emerging as the definitive frontrunner for the role.

The Rossoneri have actively assessed several candidates in recent weeks, including Igli Tare, Kim Falkenberg, and Thiago Scuro.

However, Paratici’s experience—honed during a highly successful tenure at Juventus—seems to align best with Milan’s long-term vision, making him the club’s preferred choice.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan are now on the verge of appointing Paratici, with an official announcement expected in the coming weeks.

Over the next fortnight, discussions will focus on defining the 52-year-old’s role, particularly in shaping market strategies and overseeing club management. The club views these talks as essential to finalizing the contractual agreement.

Paratici is expected to take over responsibilities currently shared by CEO Giorgio Furlani and club icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic. His arrival comes at a crucial time, as Milan look to strengthen their leadership structure following recent on-field struggles that underscored the need for a dedicated sporting director.
