Mislintat “completely open” to making a comeback

The experienced operator has hinted at making a return to football in the not too distant future.

Sven Mislintat has claimed he is once again ready for new challenges as an official in the football business.

After stints as a scout, sporting director, and technical director, Mislintat intends to continue contributing his expertise in the future.

Since his departure from Borussia Dortmund last February, no opportunity opened up until Borussia Mönchengladbach most recently.

“Of course, we’re following up on this. But I’ll be completely honest: There’s no contact with anyone at this point,” he told Sky Germany.

In his off time, has been trying to “reflect, learn, and accept” which he believes “that’s very, very important for the next steps.”

“When it comes to my future, it doesn’t have to involve maximum resources. I’m completely open to whether it’s at home or abroad.

“I’ve worked abroad, including in Germany, in various structures,” he emphasized, before adding he enjoys development over a long period of time.
