Thomas Müller has admitted he’s considering the possibility of joining a club in the United States once his contract with Bayern Munich expires this summer.

“Of course, I’m making inquiries in the U.S.,” the 35-year-old told Sky Germany.

Müller has been linked in particular with Los Angeles FC, Bayern’s partner club in the MLS, but he insists no decision has been made regarding his next step.

“I don’t know yet. There’s nothing concrete at the moment, but of course I have ideas. We’re keeping it exciting. I think the next few weeks will reveal more. We still have the Club World Cup ahead of us – that will be an exciting experience.

“I don’t have a full strategy yet,” continued Müller, who will leave Bayern after 25 years following the Club World Cup.
