The Swabians have turned down Bayern Munich’s initial bid as the Woltemade poker game continues.
Multiple sources suggest that VfB Stuttgart have rejected Bayern Munich’s initial offer for Nick Woltemade.
An offer from the reigning Bundesliga champions reached the VfB management late Thursday evening, according to reports.
The rejection was confirmed this morning after the Bavarians presented a €40million transfer fee with €5million in add-ons.
Sport BILD journalist Julian Agardi states that Stuttgart’s CEO Wehrle is still refusing a personal meeting with Bayern.
It is also said that the Swabians are still demanding a transfer fee in the region of €80million to let Woltemade go.
The discrepancy between the two clubs’ expectations is accordingly significant and could lead to lengthy negotiations.
