Currently recovering from a long-term injury, Jamal Musiala hopes to return to the pitch before the end of 2025.

Jamal Musiala has provided an update on his recovery from the broken fibula he sustained at the Club World Cup.

In an interview with Sport Bild, the 22-year-old revealed that he is making steady progress and hopes to return to the pitch before the end of the year.

“My foot is fine and the healing process is going according to plan. I don’t need crutches anymore. But I don’t want to rush things; I want to take as much time as I need,” Musiala said in the interview.

“Mentally, the first few weeks weren’t easy for me. But it won’t help if I’m constantly annoyed by the situation. I want to focus on other things now and take the time to do the things I don’t normally have time for. Then the time will pass more quickly until I’m back on the pitch.”

“You never know what steps you’ll take at any given moment. Sometimes things are going great, and then I slow down for three days. I’m taking my time and I don’t want to set a date yet. But based on the progress I’ve made so far, I’d say that I’ll still be playing competitive matches with FC Bayern in 2025. When I return to the pitch, I want to be ready.”
