Bayern Munich recorded their fourth Bundesliga win in a row on Saturday, beating FC St. Pauli 1-0 on the road thanks to a fantastic long-range strike from Jamal Musiala.

Speaking after the game, the Germany international revealed that he’s been working on improving that side of his game.

“I’ve been practising long-range shots in training and I’m very happy that it worked today. It was my first goal from outside the box this season. I’m always working to improve,” said Musiala.

The 21-year-old is generally pleased with his development.

“I think I already took a step forward last season. I wasn’t producing enough goals and assists, but now I’m getting them along with good performances. I feel better and I’m trying to play as many games as possible at a high level.”

Musiala has now scored nine goals and provided four assists in 14 Bundesliga matches.
