After securing the services of Scott McTominay and Rasmus Hojlund, Napoli are reportedly interested in a third Manchester United outcast, Kobbie Mainoo, and are eager to resume talks in January.
Multiple sources report that Napoli are interested in Manchester United midfielder Mainoo, who has only played 200 minutes across all competitions this season, making four Premier League appearances as a substitute.

The Daily Mail and TMW report that Napoli are keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old, who was already a transfer target during the summer transfer window.
According to the English newspaper, Mainoo was willing to join Napoli on loan a few months ago, but the Red Devils blocked his exit.

TMW adds that the English midfielder will ask to leave in January if he fails to get more playing time, making Napoli one of the main contenders for his signature.
The Italian media outlet says Napoli directors spoke with ‘great interest’ with the player’s agents over the summer and would be ready to make a new attempt in the next transfer window if Mainoo pushes to leave.
