Napoli are gearing up for their upcoming battle with league leaders Inter and received good news from forward Jesper Lindstrom.
The Partenopei decided to make a change during the November international break, dismissing Rudi Garcia after the team’s poor start to the season and bringing back Walter Mazzarri, who last coached the club a decade ago.
Mazzarri did well in his first match back, guiding Napoli to a 2-1 win away to Atalanta, but was less successful in his difficult second outing, an away clash with Real Madrid that ended 4-2 to the Spaniards.
As announced today, Mazzarri lead Napoli’s training session at the SSCN Konami Training Centre this morning in preparation for the coming clash with Inter, where Lindstrom completed the entire session with his teammates.
Mario Rui is still recovering from a hamstring injury and carried out both physical therapy and work in the gym, whilst Mathias Olivera continued his physical therapy programme.
