Napoli are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer.
The Englishman was loaned out to Crystal Palace last summer, but he was recalled at the turn of the year.
Chalobah went on to play a key role for the Blues as they qualified for the Champions League next term.
The centre-back also helped the club win the Conference League title.
Despite this, his future is uncertain with the Blues beyond the summer.
Chelsea are not actively looking to offload the 25-year-old, but they can’t guarantee minutes next season.
This could pave the way for his departure. Napoli are presently leading the race to secure his signature.
The Blues will receive pure profit from Chalobah’s sale which would help to stay within the PSR limits.
Bayern Munich were linked with him in the past, but they are no longer exploring a move for his services.
Napoli could have a free run at signing him in the coming days.
