This is the moment Coventry City manager Mark Robins shouted in the face of a Wolverhampton ball boy after his side’s late FA Cup victory against Wolves.

Coventry produced a comeback for the ages after trailing 2-1 going into stoppage time before scoring twice to secure a stunning 3-2 victory at Molineux.

Haji Wright’s winner in the 10th minute of stoppage time prompted wild celebrations as Coventry progressed to the semi-finals of the competition to set-up a first Wembley cup appearance since they won the title in 1987.

Robins had been animated throughout the tie and erupted with passion as Wright’s goal settled in the back of the net and bizarrely ran to celebrate in front of a ball boy on the touchlines.

The 54-year-old sprinted out of his technical area and up towards the ball boy who is said to be 13-years-old and was left distressed by the incident.

He later revealed that he had done so because the ‘young kid’ had dropped the ball and walked away smiling from him earlier in the match.

Robins apologised ‘unreservedly’ for his conduct afterwards but had his behaviour labelled as ‘disgusting’ by Wolves boss Gary O’Neil.

‘The young kid had earlier dropped the ball and walked away smiling,’ he said after full-time.

‘It really annoyed me, so I celebrated in front of him.

‘I don’t show emotion often but that’s what the FA Cup does to you,’ added Robins.

A furious O’Neil hit out at his managerial counterpart and revealed he later spoke to the Coventry dugout chief about the incident.

‘They are just kids doing a job and the boy is really upset,’ said O’Neil. ‘It was really important for me to speak to Mark about it afterwards.

‘To celebrate in a young boy’s face like that I thought was disgusting. It shouldn’t happen. I waited for Mark downstairs and spoke to him because I was really respectful at the end, having lost a massive game,’ he added.
