Juventus suffered two new injury problems in this evening’s trip to Cagliari, as Andrea Cambiaso and substitute Douglas Luiz limped off.

The Bianconeri have been struggling with fitness issues all season long and were already missing Renato Veiga, Niccolò Savona, Pierre Kalulu, Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal for this trip to Sardinia.

Cambiaso was in the starting XI and hobbled off the field at the 73rd minute to make way for Rouhi.

According to DAZN and Sky Sport Italia, Cambiaso felt his adductor pull and hopes he was able to stop before doing any real damage to this delicate muscle.

Douglas Luiz was making his return to the squad after an injury and came on as a substitute on 73 minutes to replace Teun Koopmeiners.

However, the former Aston Villa player lasted barely nine minutes before he too was forced back off again to be replaced by Samuel Mbangula.

In his case, initial reports suggest it is a knock to the ankle rather than anything muscular.
