The Magpies are interested in RB Leipzig’s talented marksman.
According to Sky Germany, Newcastle United and Benjamin Šeško’s camp are in concrete talks, with RB Leipzig informed.
However, there is currently no verbal agreement reached between the two clubs, although the Magpies are working on it.
It appears Newcastle’s focus has changed after their original target Hugo Ekitiké was pinched in front of their eyes by Liverpool.
It is also believed that the Premier League giants from the north have had Šeško on their radar since 2022.
What happens in the coming days and weeks will reveal a lot, although Leipzig have not received any official offer for Šeško.
Die Roten Bullen are demanding €80–100million for the Slovenian striker who netted 13 goals in 33 Bundesliga games last season.
