Next Spurs Manager Odds: Who is the favourite to succeed Thomas Frank?

Tottenham will begin another managerial search after Thomas Frank but a former Premier League manager is available and established as the bookies favourite

Tottenham have parted ways with manager Thomas Frank after just eight months in charge. His final game, a home loss to Newcastle, has left the club perilously close to the Premier League relegation zone. Frank was appointed at the beginning of the season to replace Ange Postecoglou, who was dismissed despite ending Tottenham’s long trophy drought with a Europa League victory.

Frank struggled to make a positive impact during his tenure, with fans growing increasingly frustrated with the former Brentford boss. Although he managed to guide Spurs into the Champions League knockout stages, the team’s Premier League form has been poor, prompting repeated calls from supporters for his departure. Tottenham are currently winless in their last eight league matches and have not celebrated a home victory in the Premier League since early December.

Attention has now turned to Frank’s potential successor. Bookmakers have made former Brighton & Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi the favourite to take over, following his surprise overnight exit from Marseille. De Zerbi’s impressive record—leading Brighton to their first ever European campaign and guiding Marseille back into the Champions League—makes him an appealing option for the Spurs board.

William Hill lists De Zerbi at evens to become the next Tottenham manager, but several other candidates are also in the frame. Fan favourite Mauricio Pochettino is priced at 4/1 for a possible return, although any move would likely have to wait until after the World Cup this summer, given his current role with the USA national team. Other contenders include former Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim (11/1), outgoing Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner (10/1), and ex-Spurs striker Robbie Keane (7/1), who has earned praise for his recent work at Hungarian club Ferencvaros.
