Calvin Bassey was mocked by Nigeria team-mate Ola Aina as the defender was recorded raging while playing Call of Duty during the squad’s down time at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria’s squad were able to relax after securing their spot in the knock-out stages of the tournament having finished second in Group A.
Aina gave an insight into the Super Eagles camp on Instagram with the Nottingham Forest defender showing members of the squad playing the first-person shooter.
He added a caption ‘this is a serious addiction, all for game’, while walking through their accommodation.
Aina recorded several members of the Super Eagles squad in their rooms focused on the multi-player game.
WARNING – CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE

Ola Aina recorded Nigeria team-mates playing Call of Duty and mocked Calvin Bassey, right
‘Yo, these man are locked, all because of games,’ Aina said.
‘I am going to start playing games now as well.’
Bassey was then seen raging when Aina arrived in his room after seemingly being killed in the game.
Aina was heard mocking Bassey as the Super Eagles defender briefly put his controller down.
‘I have been hearing you all screaming down the corridor, this is an addiction,’ Aina added.
‘I swear this is an addiction, they don’t blink, they don’t blink.’
Bassey had previously spoken about how gaming had helped him transition to life at his former club Ajax, after moving to the Dutch giants from Rangers in Scotland.
He told the website Footballer Fits that gaming allowed him to keep in touch with friends.

Bassey has played an important role in helping Nigeria advance to the last-16 at AFCON
‘Warzone? BIG. I play that a lot,’ Bassey said last year. ‘During the season, we’ve got our four and we’re in.
‘Sometimes they snake me because of the hour timezone difference but I’ve got my four that normally play together.’
Nigeria’s squad will now be focused on their upcoming last-16 match at AFCON as they bid for a fourth continental title.
The Super Eagles face a blockbuster match against five-time champions Cameroon on Saturday.
