Nkunku has emerged as Milan’s new target in attack after the deals for Victor Boniface and Conrad Harder collapsed.

Footmercato already reported on Wednesday that Nkunku had agreed to personal terms with Milan, and today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport adds that the striker has accepted a pay cut which would see him earn less than €5m per season if he completes a move to San Siro.

According to the report, Milan are trying to finalise a deal for €35-40m, but Chelsea have set a higher asking price, having signed the 27-year-old for over €60m just two years ago.

Roma’s Artem Dovbyk is reported to be Milan’s plan B. The Giallorossi are reportedly unwilling to let the Ukraine international leave on an initial loan deal, but they are also interested in some Milan players, especially Alex Jimenez and Davide Bartesaghi.

Sources tell Football Italia that Dusan Vlahovic remains Allegri’s primary target in attack, but it’s unclear whether the Rossoneri will continue talks with the Serbia international in the coming days.
