The France international has only started one Premier League game so far this season and he is now open to leaving Stamford Bridge in search of more regular game time.

Manchester United are firmly interested in finalising a deal for Nkunku in 2025, as per multiple reports, while Borussia Dortmund have expressed their desire to land the Frenchman next summer, according to TEAMtalk.

However, a move back to PSG is also on the cards and Sky Sports claim that talks over a return to the Parc des Princes have already begun.

The Parisians have reportedly initiated discussions with Nkunku’s entourage as they look to exploit his current situation at Chelsea and complete a deal next summer.

However, despite interest in the France international, PSG boss Luis Enrique is reportedly prioritising a move for Napoli superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with Nkunku currently a back-up option to the Georgian winger.

Nkunku has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea so far this season, scoring 10 goals, but he has only amassed 163 minutes of action in the Premier League amid competition from Nicolas Jackson.

What has Enzo Maresca said?

In early November, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca addressed Nkunku’s lack of game time so far this season following rumours that he could push to leave the club next year.

“Christo, every time he plays, he scores, and he does well,” Maresca told reporters.

“Also, he was probably our best player in pre-season, no doubt. He was playing then as an attacking midfielder and now we are using him as a nine, which we all know isn’t his position, he’s more a second striker or between the lines.

“But I try to find a solution and balance with all of them but not all of them can be in their position, they have to adapt a bit.

“It’s for Joao [Felix], Christo, Misha [Mudryk], they are all players who deserve more chances in the Premier League, but there are also more players who deserve that.”
