Atalanta have signed Odilon Kossounou on a permanent basis.
Odilon Kossounou has permanently transferred from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Italian first division club Atalanta Bergamo.
Die Werkself confirmed the move today after the purchase option was activated for central defender, who was initially transferred to Atalanta on loan.
“Odilon was an important factor in our team during the most successful year in the club’s history.
“We are pleased that he has been able to integrate so well in Bergamo and wish him continued success,” said Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes.
Kossounou, whose contract with Leverkusen ran until June 2026, won the German championship, the DFB Cup, and the Supercup with the club in 2024.
