Barcelona have confirmed that Robert Lewandowski will be part of the group for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Inter in San Siro on Tuesday night, as Hansi Flick reveals his contingent of travelling players.

Inter and Barcelona are currently level at 3-3 after goals from Marcus Thuram, Denzel Dumfries, Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and a Yann Sommer own goal in a six-goal thriller in Montjuic on Wednesday.

The two teams will meet again in San Siro to fight for a place in the Champions League final, where the victors will go on to face either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal.

Flick has confirmed a travelling squad of 23 players for the second leg of the Inter semi-final on Tuesday night.

The headline news is that Lewandowski is back in the squad, having missed the last four matches with an injury to his left thigh.

There is no Joules Kounde involved following his first-half withdrawal during the first leg on Tuesday.

As well as Kounde, Barcelona will also be without Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, Pablo Torre and Marc Bernal through injury.

“We have to wait and see how things progress day by day,” Flick said during his pre-match press conference ahead of Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Valladolid in LaLiga, reported via Football Espana

“Robert is progressing very well, and we’ll have to see what Balde does,” Flick continued.

“He (Lewandowski) could be back for the second leg against Inter. Robert is doing very well and his progress is much better than we expected. We’ll have to see. He’s a great professional and always works hard to be 100%. He might be back on Tuesday.”
