Vermeij previously represented MSV Duisburg and SC Freiburg prior to his time at Düsseldorf.
Dynamo Dresden has officially announced that Vincent Vermeij is transferring from Fortuna Düsseldorf to the Saxon club.
A transfer fee of around €250,000 is being reported, while Dynamo has not disclosed the length of his contract.
The 31-year-old Dutch marksman departs from Fortuna with 15 goals and four assists in 57 appearances.
“With Vincent, we have acquired a player who knows the 2. Bundesliga and its demands very well and has already proven his quality in numerous leagues beyond the second division.
“With his height and technique, he can give our offense further impact,” says Dresden’s sporting director Thomas Brendel.
