Noah Katterbach has joined Hamburger SV on a permanent basis from FC Köln.

Hamburger SV have confirmed the signing of Noah Katterbach from FC Köln.

The 22-year-old left-back, who spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at HSV, returns to the 2. Bundesliga club on a permanent basis.

HSV don’t reveal the exact length of his contract, only stating that he has signed a “long-term” deal.

“We stayed in contact with Noah even after his loan ended in the summer of 2023 because we are absolutely convinced of his sporting and personal qualities,” explained HSV director of professional football Claus Costa,

“We are therefore all the more delighted to have Noah back with us and to have already signed another important building block for the quality and breadth of our squad and a real team player.”

Katterbach hasn’t made a single appearance for FC Köln this season.
