Official: Milan sign Wolfsburg prospect

AC Milan spent big on the young Germany U19 centre-back.

AC Milan have completed the transfer of David Odogu from Wolfsburg for a reported €10 million. Odogu joined Wolfsburg’s academy at the age of 13 from Union Berlin. He only played three Bundesliga games, with the club on the losing side every time.

However, he’s a highly-rated center-back who was part of Germany U17’s triumphs in the European championship and World Cup. He was not part of Germany’s squad in this summer’s U19 Euros after playing in the qualifiers.

Milan previously had the German international defender Malick Thiaw before his transfer to Newcastle United earlier in this transfer window.
