Official: Nicola Zalewski joins Atalanta from Inter in €17m deal – Football Italia

Atalanta have announced that they have completed a deal to sign Polish wing-back Nicola Zalewski from Inter.

Reports suggest that the transfer has been finalised for a figure of around €17 million, just two months after the 23-year-old was purchased permanently by the Nerazzurri after his six-month loan from Roma.

In a statement on their official website, La Dea welcomed the Poland international, “wishing him every success, both personally and as a team, in the Nerazzurri shirt.”

Zalewski joins Atalanta after 2024-25 spent between Roma & Inter

Just seven months ago, Zalewski was still a Roma player and has now since joined and left Inter before ending up in Bergamo.

Inter signed the Polish wing-back on loan at the start of February for an initial fee of €600,000 plus an option-to-buy at €6.5 million. When the season concluded, after making 15 appearances for the Nerazzurri in all competitions, the club exercised their option in the loan contract and signed the Roma youth product permanently.

Now, he has moved again and will play for Atalanta, the Serie A side’s fifth permanent signing of the summer.
