Die Eisernen have captured the French central defender on loan with a purchase option available.

It has been made official that TSG Hoffenheim’s Stanley Nsoki will join 1.FC Union Berlin on loan for the duration of the 2025-26 campaign.

The 26-year-old will have the chance to showcase his skills again in Köpenick, with the Irons reportedly holding an option to buy.

“Stanley not only brings international experience from top leagues, but also precisely the qualities we value at Union: He’s strong in duels, focused, and versatile.

“Once he’s recovered from his injury, he’ll make our defense more versatile,” Union Berlin’s sporting director Horst Heldt said excitedly.

The Frenchman’s time at the Kraichgauers has been unfortunate to date with poor form and a spate of injuries limiting his playing minutes.

Three years ago, the Sinsheim-based club paid a whopping €12million euros to Club Brugge for the centre-half, who fled the PSG youth system.
