Official: Real Madrid XI for Champions League derby vs. Atletico

Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has named his Real Madrid XI for tonight’s Champions League derby against Atletico Madrid.

It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT) at the Estadio Bernabeu.

As usual, Real Madrid have announced their starting XI nearly two hours before kick-off.

Jude Bellingham is unavailable as he’s serving a one-match ban, while Luka Modric will start on the bench.

The Merengues will field a 4-3-3- system.

Real Madrid are on the opposite side of the Champions League bracket from Inter, the only Serie A club remaining in the competition this season.

Juventus, Atalanta and Milan were eliminated in the knockout playoff, while Bologna were eliminated in the league phase.

Inter will visit Feyenoord in the Round of 16 first leg on Wednesday.
