RB Leipzig has appointed Tatjana Haenni as the club’s new CEO and will assume her new role as CEO of RB Leipzig on January 1, 2026.

The 59-year-old Swiss national is filling the CEO position vacant following the confirmed departure of Oliver Mintzlaff.

Thus, Leipzig are underscoring their commitment to future-proofing the club through an expanded management structure.

Haenni will lead the RB management team, which also includes Johann Plenge (Business), Florian Hopp (Administration), and Marcel Schäfer (Sport).

Furthermore, Johann Plenge will be promoted to Deputy Chairman of the Management Board as part of the new structure.

In addition to his existing business areas, Plenge will be responsible for the important areas of national and international association and league work for RB Leipzig.
