Isaac Schmidt has joined Werder Bremen on loan from Leeds United.
Werder Bremen have confirmed the signing of Isaac Schmidt from Leeds United.
The 25-year-old right-back joins the Green-Whites on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent.
“We’ve had Isaac on our radar for a while now and were already familiar with him from his time at St. Gallen,” said Werder’s head of professional football, Peter Niemeyer.
“We’re pleased to now have been able to sign him on loan. He will help strengthen our squad with his qualities and his variability. Isaac is capable of playing several positions out wide.”
Schmidt added:
“I’m happy to be here and am looking forward to my time at Werder. I’m convinced that we will be able to achieve our goals together.”
