Milan have warned both Besiktas and Fenerbahce that they will only release Noah Okafor on loan if there is an obligation to buy attached.

The player spent the last six months on loan at Napoli, where he failed to make an impact with just four appearances totalling 36 minutes of football.

Before that, he had agreed a loan to RB Leipzig only for it to all fall apart in the medical tests.

It means he was sent back to base at San Siro and is now looking for the next step in his career.

There has been a lot of interest from the Turkish Super Lig, as both Besiktas and Fenerbahce are reported to have made approaches.

However, multiple sources including Fabrizio Romano and Sport Mediaset’s Orazio Accomando insist that Milan will only let Okafor leave on loan if there is an obligation to buy built into the deal.

They are ready to let him go for €10-12m, having paid €15.5m to sign him from RB Salzburg back in July 2023.

The Switzerland international has 24 senior caps for his country, where he managed to score two goals.
