Inter are still trying to find a new club for Mehdi Taremi, and Olympiacos are reportedly now the favourites ahead of Panathinaikos and PSV Eindhoven.

The Iran international is not part of their plans for this season under new coach Cristian Chivu, and he has been training separately from the rest of the squad.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the most likely destination for Taremi is now believed to be Olympiacos, who are eager to buy the centre-forward outright.

This puts them at a significant advantage ahead of PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Greek side Panathinaikos.

The striker had joined Inter as a free agent last summer after four years with FC Porto, and so any sale will generate a financial boost for the Nerazzurri.

Other clubs interested include Parma and Sassuolo in Serie A, Lille, Leeds United, Besiktas and Flamengo.

He is believed to be eager to remain in Europe and preferably in a club that is competing in UEFA tournaments.
