Openda to leave Leipzig before the transfer window closes?

According to Sky, RB Leipzig are prepared to let Lois Openda go if a suitable offer comes in for the striker.

Sky Germany reports that RB Leipzig are prepared to offload Loïs Openda before the transfer window closes if the price is right.

Openda started in Leipzig’s 6-0 Bundesliga opener against Bayern Munich, but was substituted at half-time after a lacklustre performance.

He has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, but most of the English top clubs have already strengthened up front.

Newcastle United, however, could still pursue a striker, as Alexander Isak’s future at the club remains uncertain

Having joined from Lens for €40 million in 2023, Openda is Leipzig’s second-most expensive signing, only behind Xavi Simons, who cost €50 million.
