Victor Osimhen is determined to join Manchester United this month, according to Nigerian media.
The Napoli striker is spending the season out on loan at Galatasaray, but a break clause allows him to return to Italy and sign for a new club in this January window.
Osimhen has been on fire in Turkey, scoring 12 goals in 15 games and providing five assists. Naturally, his good form has seen transfer speculation ramp up ahead of this month.

However, Osimhen has publically stated that he would not leave Galatasaray mid-season, having settled well in Istanbul and become a real fan favourite.
Despite this, rumours have continued to swirl and earlier on Friday, it was claimed that he could be at the heart of a sensational swap deal. Man Utd are known admirers of him and the assertion was that they could look to trade Marcus Rashford for the Nigerian.
Osimhen ‘wants’ Man Utd move
Rashford is looking to leave Man Utd this year, while the Red Devils can’t really afford to make big-money signings this month due to Profit and Sustainability Rules.
It was, therefore, sensationally claimed that they could send Rashford to Napoli in exchange for Osimhen, for whom they would otherwise have to pay €81 million this month, made up of his €75m release clause and €6m in compensation to Galatasaray.
Despite the outlandish nature of this rumour, Nigerian outlet ThePapers ‘authoritatively’ claims that Osimhen is keen for this type of deal to go through in the coming days and weeks.

A source ‘from Osimhen’s camp’ has told the paper that “Victor will move, he may wear the red colours in England, there are moves already and it is what he wants.”
Turkish media, meanwhile, has been claiming in recent days that Osimhen has already rejected Man Utd this month after publically committing to Galatasaray for the rest of the season.
Whatever the case, this saga is evidently set to continue for the rest of the month.
