Although injury will sideline Assan Ouédraogo for the next few weeks, RB Leipzig are already content with his impression in recent matches.
Such has been the level of the 19-year-old’s performances, the Saxony club can start to envisage him being sold for a record fee.
Popular German tabloid Sport BILD even expects a transfer fee of between €80 and 100million for the German midfielder.
The latter figure would surpass Josko Gvardiol, who moved to Manchester City for €90million in summer of 2023.
Several high profile clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona are said to be keen on him.
Either way, Leipzig is likely to generate a substantial transfer profit with Ouédraogo, who signed from Schalke in 2024 for €10million.
The estimated fee of €100million would be the second player valued this highly by Leipzig who set a similar internal price on Yan Diomande.
