Out of contract in 2025: The best free agents available on a Bosman

The 2024 summer transfer window has already seen several high-profile players move on free transfers and the same could happen in 2025.

This year, Kylian Mbappe, Thiago Silva and Olivier Giroud have all moved on Bosman deals, while Toni Kroos and Thiago Alcantara have opted to retire upon the expiration of their deals at Real Madrid and Liverpool.

However, the summer of 2025 could be as equally eye-catching in regards to free transfers.

Currently, some of the world’s best players are due to become free agents in just under a year’s time.

Many clubs will therefore need to take drastic action soon or they risk losing some of their stars without gaining a transfer fee.
