Over 10 years after Chiellini, Suarez bites another player

More than ten years after a famous incident against Giorgio Chiellini, Luis Suarez bit another player, this time his Inter Miami teammate Jordi Alba.

Nearly 11 years after an incident involving Chiellini during a 2014 World Cup group stage game between Italy and Uruguay, Luis Suarez again took the spotlight because of a bite.

Last night, the South American and some of his teammates were involved in a furious scuffle against Chicago Fire FC.

Videos that have gone viral on social media show the 38-year-old biting his teammate Jordi Alba, probably thinking he was an opponent.

There was still no VAR when Suarez bit Chiellini during the 2014 World Cup, so the striker didn’t face any immediate consequence, although he was then banned for four months, missing the rest of the World Cup.
