Paddy Pimblett settled his social media rivalry with a former MMA rival after travelling to his opponent’s gym to take part in an unofficial scrap.
The Liverpool UFC star has been locked in a long-term social media feud with Denis Frimpong that was recently reignited following one of the latter’s bouts against an amateur opponent.
A viral exchange on Instagram saw Pimblett call Frimpong out for a fight in the gym, with the beef between the pair eventually settled on Saturday.
Pimblett and his Next Generation MMA team travelled to rivals Manchester Top Team for the unsanctioned contest that ended with Frimpong being left unconscious on the mat.
Footage of the fight shows Pimblett flipping Frimpong onto his back before proceeding to choke him out with a hold that the lesser-known fighter was unable to escape from.
Frimpong quickly taps as he realises Pimblett has won, however, the rising UFC star refuses to relinquish and instead continues to choke out his opponent.
