Palhinha in London awaiting Tottenham confirmation, reports Sky Germany

The official announcement of Palhinha at Spurs is expected any time in the coming days.

After progression in the deal was confirmed last Friday, it seems clear that João Palhinha is a new player for Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has announced that the midfielder has already touched down in London. 

All negotiations are complete and Palhinha is already keen to feature for Tottenham in their friendly against Bayern on 7 August in Munich. 

Furthermore, the Premier League side have secured an option to buy the Portuguese star next summer, set at €25million.

However, with potential add-ons through bonuses, the purchase option can rise to up to €30million for the Europa League champions. 

As for the loan fee itself, it will cost up to €5million including bonuses, with the player’s annual salary of €10million covered by the Bavarians.
