Kenan Yildiz is Football Italia’s MOTM in Juventus’ 4-3 win over Inter, but Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu was also impressive, contrary to Lautaro Martinez, Yann Sommer and Teun Koopmeiners.
Juventus 4-3 Inter Player Ratings
Juventus: Di Gregorio 5.5; Gatti 6 (79′ Joao Mario N/A), Bremer 6.5, Kelly 6.5; Kalulu 6, Locatelli 5.5 (72′ Cabal 6), K Thuram 7.5, McKennie 5.5 (79′ David N/A); Koopmeiners 5 (72’Adzic 7.5), Yildiz 8; Vlahovic 5 (72′ Openda 6). Coach: Tudor 6.5.
Best Juventus player: Yildiz 8 – Hardly a surprise. The Turkey international scored an amazing goal to give Juventus the lead in the second half and provided the assist for Thuram’s equaliser. Another fantastic performance that allowed him to win the official MOTM award. Special mention for Adzic (7.5): what a way and what a game to score his first Serie A goal. Unforgettable.

Lowest Juventus rating: Koopmeiners 5 – Sadly for the Old Lady, the Dutchman still looks like a fish out of water. He moved all over the pitch, but rarely with adequate tempo and quality. Not a surprise to see him subbed off.
Juventus coach Tudor: 6.5 – The second-half performance was disappointing…until the final 10 minutes. The Croatian tactician did everything he could to turn the game around, and ultimately, he was rewarded for a brave decision to introduce the young Adzic, the match winner.

Inter: Sommer 5; Akanji 5.5, Acerbi 6, Bastoni 5.5; Dumfries 6 (77′ Darmian N/A), Barella 5.5 (64′ Zielinski 5.5), Calhanoglu 8 (81′ Sucic N/A), Mkhitaryan 6, Carlos Augusto 5.5 (64′ Dimarco 7); Lautaro Martinez 5, (64′ Bonny 5) M Thuram 7. Coach: Chivu 5.5.
Best Inter player: Calhanoglu 8 – Two great goals to level the score for Inter. He had been criticised by fans and pundits, including Fabio Capello, before the game, but the Turkish star replied with personality and quality. Unfortunately for Inter, it wasn’t enough.
Lowest Inter rating: Sommer, Lautaro and Bonny 5 – The Swiss keeper seemed surprised by Juventus’ shots from distance; hard to catch but perhaps not impossible, especially the Adzic attempt. Lautaro was exhausted after the international break and was never a threat. Bonny didn’t have any chance and lost the ball, leading to Juventus’ winning goal.

Inter coach: Chivu 5.5 – Surely, he wasn’t lucky because Inter dominated for a big part of the second half and deservedly took the lead with goals from Calhanoglu and Thuram after the break. However, his team is still too fragile, especially mentally, as they conceded Khephren Thuram’s equaliser too easily before melting in the dying minutes.
