Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Palace tonight

Arsenal host Crystal Palace in tonight’s Carabao Cup quarter-final at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have drawn two of their last three games in all competitions and manager Mikel Arteta will want a strong performance against the Eagles.

Ahead of the game, the club are without midfielder Declan Rice, who picked up a knock in the recent 0-0 draw against Everton in the Premier League.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Tommy Setford was the Gunners goalkeeper in the last round of the competition with Neto being Cup-tied. However, David Raya should start tonight due to the importance of the fixture.

There could be one change to the backline. We anticipate Jakub Kiwior to replace Gabriel Magalhaes. The Brazilian has just returned from injury and could be given a breather in the London derby.

In midfield, there could be two changes from the Everton stalemate. Rice is not part of the squad due to injury while Mikel Merino could drop to the bench as part of the manager’s likely rotation.

We expect Thomas Partey and Jorginho to feature in the heart of the midfield with Martin Odegaard in the number 10 position.

Further forward, Bukayo Saka is expected to continue on the right wing for the Gunners, but both Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli could make way.

Gabriel Jesus is likely to lead the Gunners attack. With Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in poor form, Raheem Sterling could start on the left wing.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly; Jorginho, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Sterling; Jesus.
