Nottingham Forest are the latest side to join the race for Davide Frattesi, as they are reportedly eyeing a potential summer transfer for the Inter midfielder.

The Italy international has been at the centre of speculation during the winter transfer market, with sides like Roma and Napoli emerging as potential contenders for his signing after he seemingly complained about a lack of playing time.

However, with the Nerazzurri looking reluctant to lose the 25-year-old mid-way through an extremely busy season, negotiations for his exit were postponed to next summer, when the Serie A club could face further competition.

According to transfer expert Nicolò Schira, Nottingham Forest are keeping a close eye on Frattesi and could approach the Nerazzurri to sign him next summer, especially if they qualify for the Champions League.

Inter are expected to demand a fee in the region of €35m for the midfielder, who has recorded four goals and two assists in 21 Serie A appearances this season, despite starting only five times.
