Roma are continuing their pursuit of Flamengo full-back Wesley, who is now right at the top of Gian Piero Gasperini’s wishlist for the summer transfer window.
Wesley price tag revealed for Roma
The Giallorossi are actively seeking a new wide option for their right flank, and Wesley is understood to be one of the first names on Gasperini’s wishlist.
The 21-year-old is still under contract in Brazil for another three-and-a-half years, until the end of December 2028, which means that he is not expected to come cheaply this window.
Football Italia understands that Flamengo’s current valuation is in the region of €30m.
However, the player himself is keen on making the move over to Europe, and Gasperini is particularly keen to bring him on board. The Giallorossi coach had also made attempts to sign Wesley while he was still at Atalanta.
Roma will continue their diplomatic work over the summer and remain in contact with Wesley’s camp on a daily basis.
