The American star underwent medical tests on Friday morning, and according to Milannews and other Italian media, the MRI scan showed a low-grade lesion in his right hamstring.

The player will be re-assessed in about ten days.

This means Pulisic will miss – at least – Sunday’s Serie A match against Fiorentina and another home game against Pisa on Friday, October 24.

Pulisic is the top Serie A goalscorer with four goals in six matches.

Several Italian media outlets reported earlier this week that Milan were upset by Mauricio Pochettino’s decision to start Pulisic in the USMNT’s latest friendly against Australia, during which the Rossoneri star was forced out of action after just 30 minutes.

Pulisic was already not fully fit when he joined his national team earlier this month, as he was dealing with a minor ankle problem.
