Quinten Timber added to Leverkusen’s midfield shortlist – Sky Germany

The 6-time Netherlands international has been linked with Bayer 04.

Bayer Leverkusen have added Quinten Timber to their shortlist until Deadline Day, Sky Germany have exclusively reported.

The central midfielder from Feyenoord, under contract until 2026, is one of three top candidates for this position.

Multiple sources have hinted that the Rhinelanders are looking to strengthen in that department of the pitch. 

Last season, Timber managed just 18 Eredivisie matches but reaped an impressive return of 6 goals from midfield.

The 24-year-old broke through the Feyenoord and Ajax academy before joining Utrecht and ultimately moving back to Feyenoord in 2022.
