RB Leipzig are said to be showing interest in US Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemovic.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Die Roten Bullen are ready to offer €25 million plus bonuses for the 22-year-old defender.

Both El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Castello Lukeba have been linked with moves away from the Red Bull Arena, and the Bosnia & Herzegovina international could potentially come in to replace one of them in the summer.

However, clubs from England and Italy have also been linked with Muharemovic, with Bournemouth and Inter understood to be among his suitors.

Sassuolo made the defender’s loan move from Juventus permanent for a reported €3 million last summer. Juventus reportedly secured a 50 percent share of any future transfer fee in the process.
