Real Madrid chase ANOTHER Liverpool star after Trent Alexander-Arnold confirmation

Real Madrid have told Liverpool that they are trying to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold but the Bernabeu side are also trying to sign another player from the Anfield outfit.

Real Madrid are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, Fichajes states.

Although Los Blancos see the 22-year-old as one of the most promising players in European football, they have been stunned by the Reds’ demand for €90 million to sign a player they bought for €40m 18 months ago following a failed stint at Bayern Munich.

It is even claimed that Liverpool could pay an additional surcharge to Real Madrid to sign the France international, even if Gravenberch, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €46.2m, travels in the opposite direction.

Although both Tchouameni and Gravenberch play in the centre of midfield, they are asked to play different roles in their respective teams.

The Netherlands star is more forward-thinking, playing a box-to-box role, while Tchouameni acts as a deep-lying playmaker.

Indeed, given the form of the Netherlands star currently, it seems inconceivable that Liverpool would allow him to depart to Real Madrid and pay an additional sum for a (marginally) inferior player to travel in the opposite direction.
