Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the performances of Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer ahead of a potential future approach.

The England international has been a revelation for the Blues and he has already amassed 36 goals and 21 assists from just 62 games.

His exceptional returns have caught the eye of the European champions, who are planning to sign a marquee number 10 in the coming years.

Carlo Ancelotti‘s side have started their scouting mission on Palmer and they could make a big-money swoop for his services in future.

Chelsea have been over-reliant on the Manchester City graduate and we would be surprised if they contemplate his possible exit.

He has a contract until the summer of 2033 and the Blues are in an incredibly strong position to keep him at the current point.

Unless they receive a staggering offer in the region of £150 million, we don’t see the prospect of Palmer moving away from the club.

If Chelsea were to become Champions League regulars once more, they could resist the possibility of selling him for any price on the table.
